Worth trying the bitter melon burger. Personally I think the spam and cheese took away a lot of taste, you should try the plain version for the first time.

You must eat this when you visit Okinawa. It's a really special place which spacial hamburger but you need sometimes to find the restaurant. If you don't want to eat hamburger they still have fried chicken.

Not worth imho.

The spam burger was strange and the interior was depressing, but the staff was friendly and it’s an Okinawa specialty. Plus it’s cheap and has a great name so I’ll give it a solid 4

Ordered takeaway, decided to try their signature Goya omelette burger. The place is pretty far removed from human traffic and looked somewhat dated. The food tasted awesome though. I feel a little bit bad for it, seems like it may close down at any time.

Put it in your must try list in Okinawa. Jef is a local fast-food restaurant in Okinawa. It sells a burger with Okinawa’s famous food-bitter melon. That was my first time to have bitter melon burger. It was amazing how bitter melon matches egg, cheese and meat in the burger.

While you're in the area doing your shopping, make your way through the covered market to the Sunrise area. It's only about a 5-10 minute walk from Kokusai Street depending on how distracted you get. Back there you'll find a little Okinawan fork of A&W called Jef. You definitely want to pop in there and buy yourself an ã‚ã’パン (fried bread) at the very least. If you're up for something unique, grab a ã¬ãƒ¼ã‚„ã‚‹ (what's that) burger. It's basically just spam, egg, and goya on a bun. A surprisingly good sandwich you'll find nowhere else, except other Jefs of course.
